A trip to America, what was it like?

Expectations and experiences: shall I get a visa or not? And here is my success!-I have a passport with a visa in it and after 8 days I am in the United States.

How did Spokane meet us? It met us very warmly, in every sense of the word; the air temperature was 39 degrees! Our first acquaintance with the city: very nice, clean, cozy, with a rich variety of architecture, a bewitching natural landscape in the very center of the city. River, waterfalls, mountains – everything is breathtaking.

The most important thing is the SYMPOSIUM: « 2022 IEEE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM on ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY, SIGNAL & POWER INTEGRITY» ( AUGUST 1-5, 2022 SPOKANE, WASHINGTON)

This is the first symposium in my life and immediately at such a high level. My head was spinning from responsibility and a lot of new impressions! A huge number of countries are presented at the symposium by their researchers, professors and doctors of science of electromagnetic compatibility engineers, as well as the younger generation of students ready to absorb new information and learn a lot of interesting things from the older generation. The conference building impressed us with its size: spacious, with a beautiful view of the river.

There are six halls, which simultaneously host presentations of scientific works in various fields. It is a pity that we do not have the opportunity to divide ourselves into two or three parts to have time to listen to more of the topics presented at the conference.

My participation in the conference was to present an abstract on the topic: «Electromagnetic Influence of AC Traction Network on the Railway Communication Lines». This work was written jointly with my supervisor Tetiana Serdiuk and my colleague Hossein Ansari Taghizade.

The work is devoted to the analysis, calculations of the impact of high-voltage power lines, traction networks and auto-blocking lines on various types of communication existing on the Ukrainian railway (Air and cable communication lines).

On the fifth day of the symposium, presentations on Tutorials in various fields were scheduled at EMC SIPI.

My tutorial has been moved : The work is devoted to measuring the influence of high-voltage lines on radio communications in railway transport using a laboratory car and measuring equipment installed on it.

I hope we did a good job, it’s time to relax!

Acquaintance with the city and its surroundings brought a lot of grandiose impressions. The state of Washington is really very beautiful and rich in beautiful natural views.

There were also some funny cases)))…

Guys, you need to think about work, about work!
	Once for breakfast, our pancake machine went crazy – for one order it gave out a month’s portion of pancakes. I had to treat all the hotel’s guests who came for breakfast.
I think this is the best way to get around America! I’ll take note and be ready for the next conference.
