As the sun dipped into the Tyrrhenian Sea, casting a warm glow over the charming town of Gaeta, Italy, the 2023 ECPE European PhD Summer School unfolded as a vibrant blend of learning and networking. Against the backdrop of Gaeta's stunning landscapes, this annual event became more than just a gathering of PhD scholars; it evolved into an enriching experience that crossed borders and created lasting connections.

At the heart of this summer school were the enlightening tutorials led by esteemed experts. One of the session was  the University of Twente Prof. Thiago Soeiro's talk on EV Battery Charging. Focusing on Power Electronics and Grid Integration, he guided us through the complexities of onboard, fast, and wireless charging technologies. His tutorial not only deepened our understanding but also sparked our curiosity for future advancements.
